A group of Guides in Mintlaw have raised an impressive £300 for the neurology department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

 

The girls - all members of 1st Mintlaw Guides - held a sponsored dance in their wellies and pyjamas. They decided to donate the money raised to the neurology unit as one of the guides has mobility difficulties and has been involved with the department from a young age.

 

Julie Simpson, a Sister on Ward 40 at ARI said "We really appreciate the effort made by the girls and we will make sure the money is put to good use."
