The following charitable organisations supply wheelchairs for short term loan (if for example you break your leg). They may ask for a donation/fee for this service.

Below are some charities and organisations that assist in providing specialist mobility products that would otherwise not be available from the NHS, or useful information about mobility and independent living.

Action For Kids is a charity that aims to help disabled children and young people by providing mobility aids, work related learning and family support services.

Whizz-Kidz is a charity that aims to assist disabled children's lives by providing them with customised mobility equipment, training and advice.

The Disabled Living Foundation aims to help older and disabled people find equipment solutions that enable them to lead independent and mobile lives.
